Why quitting isn’t an option

  • Posted by: sheena

If you have reached a point where you are desperate because you aren’t getting the results you want, be it in your relationships, career, health or just a simple project you have set yourself up to achieving, I totally get you. It’s not abnormal to feel that way. I would want to give up too. It’s a lot more common than you think. It doesn’t mean you are a quitter. It doesn’t define you as a person or your character. It simply means, you are exhausted. You don’t see the light at the end of that tunnel. It feels heavy and you have had enough.

You see, we are taught at an early age to work for what we want. When you find yourself working and working and not reaching your goals, it’s easy to lose hope and feel like you have failed. However, there is something I invite you to consider. If you quit now, you will likely end up back where you first started. In case you forgot, when you first started, you were eager to be where you are right now. So, keep going. Don’t quit just yet. You are a lot further than you were when you began. You have learned what to do and what not to do by now. You have grown. You are a different person because of it. Don’t stop, you are almost there. Don’t focus so much on the process, focus instead on the results you want. The outcome is gold.
